Christmas comes but once a year,
We fill ourselves with fine wine and good beer
But all to soon it's been and gone
Leaving a hangover second to none !

I'll drink and be merry for one last time
Whilst I'm waiting for Auld Lang Syne.
But all to soon it's been and gone
(and yes, you've guessed it)
Another hangover second to none !

Now Auld Lang Syne has been and gone
I'll not touch the stuff, not even one !
But New Years resolutions are made to be broke
So make mine a brandy instead of a coke !
