Viewing your potential home from a distance

I know how expensive it is to view properties from a distance. The blurb looks good. The 'phone chat with estate agents makes the place sound like heaven.

Then you spend a couple of days travelling, hotels, petrol etc etc. You discover it isn't a palace and your bank account is a lot lighter.
