Retire or move to Devon

Not an easy decision to make but many do. Many think about it and don't do it. Maybe they like a lot of traffic, plenty of noise. Maybe they can't tear themselves away from connections and fear treading new ground. Some have good reasons for staying put but for those still pondering let me tell you the people around here are very pleasant to get on with; as in all walks of life you "get back what you put in".

I can only speak from personal experience, I moved here a few years ago and live inland on the Devon Cornwall border. Do you want to know how we found any particular aspects which may be bothering you? Like health care, costs, transport, services etc etc.

Maybe I can't answer everthing you want to know but I have no axes to grind. If you want me to spend much time on checking anything particular I may have to defray expense but I'm not a fortune hunter.
